Own Little World c 1994
In her own little world
she is safe and secure
Nothing bad could ever hurt her
She dreams and thinks and lives in her mind
Memories and laughter
forever after entwine
She doesn’t eat or sleep or [lay
and doesn’t see that her body is wasting away
Until she can’t move from her bed
so she lives the last few hours in her head
Notes:
An early anorexia poem, though the majority won’t get written until 1997 and 1998
