Rejection Playlist, Volume 1, Track 5: “So Jealous”

I will be the first to admit that I can be a sore loser. I also have a few jealous bones in my body. Sometimes I can’t help it. One of my writing partners got awesome news this week and for a few minutes I turned a little green. But she did totally deserve it. (Congratulations, Z!)

but or those few, green minutes I sang this song in my head:

I want the ocean right now

I get so jealous that I can’t even work
There I am in the morning
I don’t like what I see
I don’t know how it’s become such a problem

 

Ten minutes later I was a little less jealous.
