Last night we went caroling in the neighborhood. Last night Lauren S. and I became best friends again. Today we went bike riding for 45 minutes. We had a great time.

Dear Diary,
It’s 7:58 and I’m awake with a stuffy nose, tight chest, sore throat and my ear hurts. Having a boyfriend like Shorty can be boring. On the last day of school he didn’t even say goodbye! We hardly talk.

Thoughts on the above entries:
1) Lauren S. was my next door neighbor and we were bff for years until we went to different middle schools and later high schools.
2) I’m concerned that my relationship with Shorty won’t last past Christmas Break. Have we even talked on the phone yet?
3) I probably got sick from all that caroling/ exercise.
